What you will build

This guide turns a full statistical analysis of 6,750+ LinkedIn posts into a repeatable posting system. We scraped every post since 2024 from 25 of the best creators in GTM, sales, AI and content (from 8k to 864k followers), removed reshares and audience bias, and compared the 2,089 posts that broke 500 likes against everything else. The baseline to beat: 28.4% of posts go viral (200+ likes). Every number in this guide comes out of that clean 3,596-post dataset — nothing is a guess.

By the end you'll know the statistical profile of a winning post (~260 words, number-led hook, one image, zero hashtags, comment-to-get CTA), the 6 levers that lift viral rate up to +15 points, the 5 hook formulas with real examples, the distribution tactics the top creators run around every post, and the system that turns your commenters into booked meetings.

One honest caveat before the data: you stack the odds, the algorithm decides. No format guarantees a gem — but stack enough proven elements on a genuinely interesting topic, post consistently, and over enough posts the odds win.
